A young Merinita maga, who like many of her kind was brought up among the fey. As a baby, Boudicea was stolen from her cot by the good folk, who took her to the lands of Dark Summer, leaving a changeling behind in her place. After many years, she was eventually led back into mortal lands by Retoni the Traveller, who recognised her Gift and trained her in the magical arts, as well as leading her all over Europe in search of grand sights and events to capture in song. Her power fluctuates with the seasons, waxing in the summer heat and waning in the cold winter months.
The years seem to take little toll on Boudicea, and she appears much younger than her true age, a side effect of being weaned on faerie milk. The wolfhound Arch has been her loyal companion since childhood, and the two are rarely far apart. Boudicea has little patience for human niceties, and often comes across as flighty and impolite. A satyr, the last of his band, makes his residence in Boudicea's tower, and it is a place of song and merriment, where grapvines climb the walls and wine and music flow freely.
